This is the 5th release by Denver's "Hank & The Hankstirs". The title of the cd is "The Ghost Of Clyde & Checkers" which is also the title track. "The Ghost Of Clyde & Checkers" is written about Denver's own favorite Italian Family that handled all the business during prohibition from the 20's threw the 60's. The song takes place during prohibition when people would drive their Model A Fords from Denver to "Black Hawk And Central City" to gamble, drink and just have some fun.
